Warby Parker + Topshop

I have worn glasses for all my adult life and I am of the opinion that they are the accessory I wear most and as such serious thought goes into each and every pair.

I am always on the hunt for frames with an edge which Warby Parker frames certainly do.

I now have quite a wish list from the winter 2016 collection but sadly my prescription and location mean these are a no go, but as I had already visualised how I would style the glasses for this season I thought I should share my looks.

I could see myself living in this boot and jumper combo - they are just perfect !!

The purples and blacks in this look are very me - librarian chic at it's best

You can find more details on the brand here and all the clothes linked are from Topshop*

Are you as obsessed with glasses as I am? Do you change your frames each season?

Products I have shared lately

I have been making more of an effort to share on social media but with that, the blog has fallen away. I am going to try and find some sort of middle ground so I thought I would start with things I have been talking about elsewhere on social media lately. To start with we have my new favourite book (albeit that it is for children). Mary and Frankenstein - Both the story and the illustrations and enthralling    And this is another gorgeous children's book that I got for the illustrations, though more specifically the colour palette. I think the pop of neon with neutral colours is something I want to experiment with.   what is your favorite illustrated children's book? Finally - my product of choice at the moment is Turner gouache though I am going to treat myself to some of these Shin Han hybrid paints this month to try them out I have set up an Amazon store with some of my favorites so it is easy for you to find everything I love in one place.   h...

Spring Summer 2017 Beauty trends

As I mentioned the other day in my Miles Donovan post now Christmas is behind us I am starting to think about my wardrobe (clothing and beauty) for Spring/Summer. As I am keener to experiment with my makeup than my clothing (office day job and strong reliance on black clothes that cover my belly) I paid most attention to the makeup looks and have I picked a few (more) of those that I would like to try to share with you. Do you change your look each season or do you have a go-to look you stick with? What is your favourite spring/summer product? Tessa
