Products I have shared lately

I have been making more of an effort to share on social media but with that, the blog has fallen away. I am going to try and find some sort of middle ground so I thought I would start with things I have been talking about elsewhere on social media lately. To start with we have my new favourite book (albeit that it is for children). Mary and Frankenstein - Both the story and the illustrations and enthralling And this is another gorgeous children's book that I got for the illustrations, though more specifically the colour palette. I think the pop of neon with neutral colours is something I want to experiment with. what is your favorite illustrated children's book? Spring Summer 2017 Beauty trends

As I mentioned the other day in my Miles Donovan post now Christmas is behind us I am starting to think about my wardrobe (clothing and beauty) for Spring/Summer. As I am keener to experiment with my makeup than my clothing (office day job and strong reliance on black clothes that cover my belly) I paid most attention to the makeup looks and have I picked a few (more) of those that I would like to try to share with you. Sharpened with plenty of vinegar One fat dumpy lady Grossly intimate most definitely not puritan Awkward Guilt A failed chapter The phrases for this poem came from Christie Malry's Own Double-Entry by B S Johnson. A birthday present from my husband in 2018 that has to be one of my favourite books ever despite me needing to read it with a dictionary beside me. Perhaps it spoke to me only because of my day job but nonetheless speak to me it did and the language inspired a series of found poems. This is the first and my favourite as it is a self-portrait in poetry form. 12 October 2018
